Home Get Involved Music at Adat Reyim Our Folk Group

0511-0712-1713-5750_trio_of_musicians_clipart_imageThe Adat Reyim Folk Group was formed to provide an alternative to the traditional Friday night service. Folk services are held on the fourth Friday of every month and provide a more informal atmosphere to meet the varied spiritual needs of our congregants. Our most casual service is held during the summer, our Shabbat Under the Stars, which begins with a picnic dinner (bring your own!) and leads into the service, all held outdoors (weather permitting). Several of our members play musical instruments, including guitars, piano, cello, and tof (Middle Eastern drum). We encourage participation by the congregation, and we teach new melodies as we introduce them in the service. Please join us and learn how we “sing a new song unto G-d.” For more information, please contact Larry Kugler at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
