Yasher koach to everyone who signed up and walked up to donate blood at our annual INOVA Blood Donor Services blood drive on Sunday, January 22, 2012. We had 37 donors register to donate; 6 of those donors were deferred (for various reasons); and 36 units were collected in all. Six donors volunteered to give double red blood cells.

INOVA officials were very pleased with the overall results of the drive and our donors’ willingness to share this life-saving gift. Brenda Tingen, Senior Account Manager for INOVA said, “The efforts of Congregation Adat Reyim have always been greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.” Robyn Kaplan, another Senior Account Manager for INOVA echoed Brenda’s sentiments by saying, “I am writing to thank you again so much for the wonderful blood drive at Congregation Adat Reyim yesterday." Mazel tov on sponsoring such a successful blood drive!

We look forward to again sponsoring another blood drive in January 2013. Until then, please take good care of yourselves, be healthy, so that we can have an even better congregational response next year. Todah rabah!
