Rejuvenate:  Calling all Chagalls and Picassos!  Bid farewell to our sanctuary moveable walls and floors with messages and drawings. 
YES!  You can write or draw on the walls and floor! 

 

Ruminate:  Enjoy hot dogs and drinks and mingle with friends while children jump on the moon bounce!

 

Recycle:  Bring your electronics junk for recycling!

Men’s Club will be cooking Hotdogs and providing drink for your tasting pleasure, donations accepted.

 

Please join us as we celebrate two Milestone events in the life of Adat Reyim. First,  this year marks the 50th anniversary of Rabbi Aft becoming a Bar Mitzvah .  Next, our long awaited and highly anticipated sanctuary and lobby Rejuvenation is going to begin.  During the weekend of June 2, there will be many ways for you to participate and celebrate these remarkable achievements. 

 

Friday June 2 is our traditional Shabbat evening service. A Wine and Cheese reception will precede services, and the choir will participate.  Our confirmation students will be honored and they will share insights with us as we prepare to move into our rejuvenated sanctuary.

 

On Saturday, June 3, Rabbi Aft will lead our Shabbat morning service.  This will be our opportunity to honor his special anniversary.  A number of people who share the Torah reading for that day will participate in the service and it will be a wonderful symbolic celebration of L’dor v’dor, passing Torah on to other students, from generation to generation.  Rabbi Aft learned this important lesson at his Bar Mitzvah and lovingly shares this tradition with us.

After the service please join us for a Lunch and Learn led by Maurice Mizrahi titled Humor in the Talmud. 

 

Sunday June 4 will be a time for all ages to come and bid farewell to our current walls and floors with messages and drawings.  Yes, everyone can write or draw on the moveable walls and floor. Markers will be available for a small donation toward the Rejuvenation.  Welcome “would be” Mark Chagalls!!  Other activities are being planned for all family members.

Any donation you would care to make towards our Milestone Weekend is greatly appreciated.

 Donations will be used for the Rejuvenation of the sanctuary  and lobby area and for Elijah’s Table, which helps congregants in need of assistance.
