From our President, Ava Epstein: The Epsteins wish all of our Congregation Adat Reyim friends a year of peace, camaraderie, community building and belonging in 5785! May we grow from strength to strength.
Members: This year we will not be requiring registration for services. Please join us for any or all services as you desire! There are no tickets; you will be checked in by name as you enter. Registration is required for some events (e.g. meals, babysitting). Visiting family of congregants may attend with you, and a donation is encouraged.

Rosh Hashanah
Wednesday, October 2 - Erev Rosh Hashanah:
6:00 – 6:30 pm Special Program for Families with Rabbi Billinson

Thursday, October. 3 - Rosh Hashanah Day 1:
8:30 – 11:00 am Traditional service - High Holiday melodies and readings that lead us toward reflection and introspection with a Torah service. Time for Rabbi's sermon is TBD. (Sanctuary & Zoom)
8:30 am - 1:15 pm 2yrs - 5yrs babysitting, (Back classrooms) (Registration and payment required)
10:00 – 10:45 am 2nd – 5th grade service (Back classrooms)
10:00 – 10:45 am Preschool – 1st grade service (Back classrooms) (All preschool children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
11:30 am – 1:15 pm Spirit of Rosh Hashanah service with Shofar Service - A fresh exploration of the Holiday liturgy and rituals that deepen our connection to the holidays. Communal singing led with instruments, thoughtful new readings, and an interactive Torah discussion. (Sanctuary & Zoom)
9-10 am; 11:30 am - 1:15 pm Drop in activities for elementary-aged children, supervised by teens (Back classrooms)
4:30 pm Taschlich, Lake Accotink. Adat Reyim will provide river stones to toss in the lake.

11:00 am Kever Avot Service at King David Memorial Gardens - Community-wide service honoring loved ones who have passed away. Includes participation by the Adat Reyim Choir.
Yom Kippur
Friday, October 11- Kol Nidre
6:00 – 8:00 pm Kol Nidre service (Sanctuary & Zoom) including string quartet and Adat Reyim Choir. Older children welcome in the Sanctuary and library (Adult supervision necessary. Parents can arrange with others to provide coverage).
Saturday, October 12 - Yom Kippur:
