TITLE: "The Israeli Intelligence Community: The Best In The World" DESCRIPTION: The Israeli Intelligence Community has gained respect and recognition all over the world. It is almost impossible to measure how great is the community’s contribution to Israel and its existence. Join me to learn how intelligence works, what the Israeli intelligence community looks like and discuss some of its known operations. Learn about some of the conspiracies that were linked to Mossad and hear about my experience in the IDF intelligence unit. PRESENTER: Liat is the community Shlicha (Emissary) at the JCC of Northern Virginia. Liat was born and raised in Ashdod, Israel to a family of Moroccan descent. Prior to becoming a shlicha, she worked in Tel Aviv, as a Web Fraud Content Analyst for IBM She also worked for the non-profit SheCodes group, which aims to bring gender equality to the Israeli hi-tech industry. Liat served as an Intelligence Analyst in the IDF for three years and was the head of an intelligence team of 12 soldiers. She was also selected by Israel Ministry of Education to engage in Seeds of Peace aimed at peaceful dialogue among Israeli and Palestinian teens.
