The Russian Revolution in 1917 thrusts his family into a world of poverty and oppression. Relying on his wits, optimism, and luck, Boris made his way to Germany where he becomes a successful Mining Engineer He faces many daunting challenges after his secure employment is suddenly lost. His flight takes him through several countries of Europe before he finally reaches America. Boris's daughter, Vera will present her father's autobiography published in a book available for sale and signing. PRESENTER: Vera Kochanowsky is the daughter of Boris Kochanowsky and author of "Lenin, Hitler, and Me - A Memoir." A compelling story of grit and courage will be presented that highlights the escape from oppression.
