Did you really think those venerable Talmud tomes are dry, legalistic, and totally devoid of humor? How wrong you are! Wry Jewish humor is what allowed us to survive. Teachings are best learned when associated with light stories. The Talmud itself records that a certain rabbi always began his lectures with a joke.
