ECHO volunteers will spend hours this summer filling 1300 backpacks with grade-specific school supplies to give to local students whose families are struggling financially. ECHO understands the importance of education. We want every child in our community to be prepared to thrive.
Because we want all children to start on an equal footing, we ask for donations of new school materials. Some types and sizes of supplies on our list are very specific because we are following the guidelines of schools within the geographic area we serve.
Donations are needed now so that we can start giving the backpacks out later in the summer. Please see the list of requested items on our website, echo-inc.org. Click “Donate Goods” and scroll down to "School Supplies.”
Items can be taken directly to ECHO, or dropped off at Adat Reyim and the Social Action Committee will deliver them to ECHO
