Jewish Youth Philanthropy Initiative
Learn what it means to “Give Back to the Community” by participating in “Jewish Life & Learning.” Eighth- and ninth-graders are eligible to participate in this group. You have a wonderful opportunity to earn community service hours while learning how to give back to the community. It is one of the most educational Tzedakah experiences you can possibly have. Join with other synagogues’ youth groups in the DC region with JYIP and you will learn firsthand how to make a difference.
“Days of celebrating, learning and doing, of believing and behaving, can add up to a true sense of belonging,” states the JYPI website.
So decide to learn, do, believe, belong, and celebrate, all while providing grants to important local causes that you find worthy.
